Although it looks very similar aesthetically, only Futaba can let us know if they ever update their site. Of all available accessories, not a single one is tagged for the 4PM - they are still tagged as being for the 4PV and 4PX.
*sigh* - this radio really is attractive to me, but the LCD worries me. Even though I treated my old 3PJS like Royalty, the LCD screen eventually burned. You can still read it, but the majority of the screen is dark. I’m afraid of the same thing happening to this screen. 😔

I have mailed them about not fitting the recomended NiMh battery in the T7XC and no answer yet....... (after several months) I tried to contact Futaba-RC, Ripmax Germany and Ripmax USA.

can anyone confirm if the carbon handle from the 3pv/4pv will fit the 4pm?

What is meant by "SR compatible servo", a Futaba big buck SR servo or any digital servo? What is needed to run in full SR mode?
#56
The new generation of Futaba servos (eg. HPS-CB700) blow away the (often overrated) competing options from literally every other brand, so you do get what you pay for.
However, if you want fast response with any digital servo and don't want to buy Futaba ones, the intermediate high-response modes on Sanwa radios (eg. SHR, and SSR with some compatible aftermarket servos) will net better response, and will thus be a better option.

Also, courtesy of Roelof who shared this when I asked the question myself:
- SR center pulse width = 0.76ms (760μs)
- SR refresh rate = 800Hz
- Some heli tail servos use same center pulse, but need to be compatible with refresh rate also
And from Futaba, the compatible servos:
- HPS-CB700, HPS-A700, HPS-HC700, upcoming HPS-CT700 (latest models, new brushless motor)
- BLS371SV, BLS471SV, BLS571SV, BLS671SV, BLS671SVi, (older models, brushless)
- S9372SV & S9373SV (older models, coreless)
According to Futaba you need to set the servos (at least the older pre-HPS models) to SR mode w/ 760μs center pulse instead of 1520μs.
They say the 7PX can do this, not sure if 4PM can. Also not sure if HPS models autodetect pulse width or need to be set manually.

On the transmitter there is a port to connect sbus devices to program them from the transmitter, I do not know what you can program but it is listed somewhere in the thick manual.

Having some trouble finding the trigger position adjustment screw. The manual says to use a 2.5mm hex driver but I can't find it anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
I wanted to inquire about the 7XC 7 Channel Stick radio, as such, I would like to inquire what size NiMh battery you recommend.
Thank you,

Subject: FW: Futaba 7XC battery question
Futaba USA doesn’t distribute the 7XC radio here in the US. I can only guess it can take a 1800 mAh NiMh.
Thanks,
Bobby
Not really reassuring, when you tried to contact the Main Office tech support 5 times.... I am going to eat my words with their support and such.
