Tyson, I see that your on!!! Dude, I gotta call you some time, or vise versa.

BBack to this topic....:

I am asking in behalf of ALL club members of SBRCCA that Jeff Eilings or a Park Representative talk to the club members at the track. Communication IS key.

Hey guys, so I am in Japan at the moment and just bought a bunch of RC cars (including a new Tamiya truck ) And want to buy a new motor for my Mugen.....Is the Ninja really good? I mean it is like $350 here but isn't pull start and I really wanna add a roto start to it cause I HATE starter boxes and don't own one.....I may just buy some OS that is like $150, what do you think?

$350 for a ninja isnt even that good of a price, and anyways I dont think you can put a rotostart on it. I would recomend a V-Spec, I think you can get them for cheap over there, but again I am not sure if you can add a rotostart.

They have some crazy motors over here I haven't heard of before that round the very very high hundreds of dollars haha. I dunno, I just want a solid motor, doesn't have to be balls out fast really....

Then just get yourself a V-spec with a JP-3, that is a very reasonably priced combo that is very reliable and offers plenty of power. and just get a good starter box, spend some time setting it up right so the flywheel is actualy alligned, and be done with it, you will never look back
