Any chance we can get some track-only pix??? Most of the pictures are of vehicles ON the track...can't get a feel for the size, jumps, etc.

Thanks!

No problem, I will work on it over the weekend!! I will take some new pictures over the weekend and then track down the web guy. I don't do the web page. Average 1/8th scale times are 30-35sec for the fastest guys.

Had a good turnout today. it wasn't bad for our first Saturday race. We had about 7 1/10th scales with about the same in monster trucks and 1/8th scale buggies. Light turnout for the buggies as they usually number the highest. The club will be working on updating the web site with info and pictures! Including a track layout picture.

Here is the track (little different now) and remember, racing every saturday. We are goin to shoot for better (more people, computer) racing on the first weekend of the month. Which day/time would you like to see? As it stands, it is Saturday at noon (though most are there earlier). Thanks!

As of late, 'race' day has been a play day.... but still lots of fun!! However, we are trying to attract a bigger croud again and get some real racing going (we have the computer equipment for transponder or number punching racing, but turnout hasn't made it worthwhile (it still would be sometimes)) and your best bet, if this is what you're looking for, is to try the first saturday of the month. We've been talking about trying to do this to attract some real races. If you want to play and have fun, any saturday has tons of potential.

Head over to www.sbrcca.com and go to the forums, I'm trying to get some race time/date discussion and polls going so we can get something hammered out. Thanks for the interest! It is fun, lighthearted racing.

Classes are usually buggy (now including truggy, but if there are enough, we can probably split it) monster truck, then 1/10th scale (nitro and electric, usually only a few people, and usually the younger kids etc., so it's just for fun.)

Run what ya brung, have fun, check it out!

New update. The club meeting is tonight, and every first wednesday of the month, at Pit Stop at 6. Come check it out and chime in. Additionally, for anyone that's been monitoring this and is interested in racing, we are pretty much commited to running the computer this weekend. We are set up with transponder capability (need your own) but we may do number entry since most of the folks out there now don't have Transponders. Racing will be at noon, show up a bit before to do a little track grooming and practice. Hope to see lots of folks out there!

Hey everybody,

Well, what a success!! We had great racing action on Saturday the 4th, and hope to continue it on all the first Saturdays of the month. Here is a vid of the action from the first heat of the Truggy/Buggy class.

p.s. That's me with the holeshot... the Jammin CRT with the blue rims ;-)

Hope to see ya out there!
