Late is better than never right?

RC Soup's coverage of this year's Motorama.

http://www.rcsoup.com/2013/03/motora...l-event-recap/

If you've never been.. def. try to make it next year.. you won't regret it.

Are they running sportsman e-buggy in 2014?? Thanks I can't find the classes for 2014? Also do they give the awards to all A Main drivers? Also what are the prices for each class? I hear only good things about the event and hopefully I can make it in February! Thanks

Yes there should be a sportsman/intermediate class for buggy and truggy...And yes last year there were awards for the a-main. The prices were $80 for the first class if I remember correctly.....All of this is based on last year though and could change for this years race.

At least on the 1/8 scale track they had buggy, truggy, and 4wd SCT Expert and Intermediate classes. And I'm pretty sure they gave something to everyone in the A-mains. I got 6th in intermediate buggy A-main and got a plaque but I sort of remember taking a picture with everyone in the A with plaques.

What tires did everyone run for buggy and truck last year? Barcodes all around? Stock foams or closed cell?

Kind of...the Trinity D3.5 was illegal by ROAR standards at the time but OK for Motorama. Also, batteries did not have to be ROAR approved, they did have to be hard case and 2 cell for 1/10 scale.
