Yeah that is kind of the point. For the die hard racer who wants, needs, and craves practice time it works for them. It also works for the guys who just want to make quick trip to get some racing in possible. I like to look at it as a win, win chance to race.

this is going to be THE warm-up to go to. even if you're not going to vegas, you'll get to run against 5 or 10 people who are, and all have a good shot at winning it. we are going to bring a few from The Gate to join the many who are coming from out of state.

forget the prices, it's going to be great. as one of the integral few who manage The Gate up here in cleveland, i can tell you that it's a task to keep a track open. forget prizes and incentives, we have multiple racers who donate $100 - $250/yr on top of weekly race fees just to keep us open. just to race! granted we have alot of knowledgeable racers, but the bottom line is that it's important to have a decent track to race at.

we spend all this money on gear so that we could enjoy racing. without a track, it's all a waste. please support your local track regardless of the policy and fees(within reason ). nobody is getting rich off of entry fees!

see you in a few more weeks, and then again for our halloween race!

man I wish we had diehards like that LOL

they complain about our $15 fee as well. asking for help to cover new carpet, ins. rent or anything else and they'd probably blow a gasket LOL

what's even worse is they complain and want to race more so we go every week... then they complain we race too much. so we go to every other week. then they get mad because the on weeks don't fit their schedule.

You can't win its ridiculous. Owning a track is a losing proposition in most cases. If I didn't love racing and the sport I would shut the track down and get rid of my headaches.

Hopefully everyone will understand that you have to pay bills at some point.

Chris, we will be there for sure... only thing we need to figure out is what time practice is on Friday at world of hobbies for the warm up race.. open and close???

Robert is trying to schedule it at work in advance.

Michael I posted this one page back! Could I also get a link to your track?

Seaball well said, I just moved to Cincy from Indy and one of the major reasons was to have a track 10 min from home. WOH is a great track and great place to race (well for me any way).

See everyone in a few weeks.

you guys still haven't answered what I was asking LOL

I guess I wasn't specific enough. Or I've gone blind which is almost true LOL

What time does the track open on friday... its great its open late I just need to know what time to plan to be there friday morning???

Monti here's the link,

www.thunder.rc50.com

(nashrcracer does the website) so blame him for it being ugly LOL

we have about 15,000 sq ft. I believe... onroad, oval, and dirt indoor.

Its not the nicest building in the nicest neighborhood, but its about the only place we could afford rent...

I am looking forward to coming up from West Virginia. I was wondering if the track layout is the same as what is on the World of Hobbies website or will it be changed?

Thanks for the info
Clark
