Whats to say he didn't mess it up when hooked his battery up to it. I say take the neg feedback and issue the same for him. you have 36 and he has 13. it will hurt him more. Keep a link to this post so you can refer it to people who might have doubt on your deals. They will see your a stand up person.

Default Starter box

I have one of these. If you don't have the car lined up on the wheel perfect it will not turn over the motor. His other box may be set up different.
I say let him keep it. You have no idea what happened after it left you.

I agree if its not lined up right when you got a motor with a lot of compression
it won't turn it!
don't give in.

I would not accept the return either. I am willing to bet he did a motor swap. It seems kind of fishy that all of a sudden he is asking for $20 to not post negative feedback. If you send him the $20 he would have only purchased a "$90 retail" starter box for $40.

I have an ofna true start box with one bad motor and it still starts my RBs5 with very little problem. we all know how tough them italian mills are to start. From what i hear The box that you sold him, they have tons of power. I think he had 2 burnt motors, bought your box, swapped the motors so he didn't have to pay the "$60" for replacements, and is trying to get back any money he can.

If he is really upset with the box give him that option so by the time he gets his money back he will only get about half his money back I have bought stuff from pinksleeve before with no problems at all.

I say he has the same box and then buys yours and all the sudden being a great seller that you are and you know your stuff is good he says oh I got it and the motor is junk but hey send me some cash or threatens you with feedback... at the same time complaing a new motor is $60 each... WHY WOULD HE SETTLE FOR $20 when a new is $40 more... doesnt make sence there.. and of all things to threaten you with holding your feedback ransom too.. I say its no different than anything else ya sell once you start it up its yours! sold as is as nothing in this hobby is 110% guaranteed! Even NIB can have issues!

id take the neg feedback. keep this link. and give him negative feedback. with ur other feedbacks, that could back you up..it seems extremely fishy how he says he just wants $20 instead of a full refund.

Hey Pink_Sleeve, By the looks of things he probably doesn't want negative feedback either. Part of the risk in buying used items is that they are used. NO WARRANTEES. Pretty simple.

I say no refunds and let the transaction stand as is. At some point you just have to say no. Good luck with your situation. I'd buy from you anytime. So what do you have for sale???? LMAH

hello everyone!

I'm not a scamer, I know that if you buy something from here it's "as is" condition but I think that if you know something is wrong you must post it.

I see that pink sells alot of stuff on here, more stuff that i ever will own.

If you look @ my first e-mail i asked a question if I could return it. Not saying that i demand to return it.

It sad that 2 grown men can talk this out.

Pink was selling a 90$ box for 70 so wouldn't you think this box would be in "like new condition".

Last night pink e-mailed me and said he would send me back 15 bucks.

let's see if he is a man of his word.

I want to keep this post going, please post how i should have handled this?

what i did was bad?
