Default Is a garage compressor good enough?

Hey all,

I'm growing tired of rattlecan paintjobs and would like to try my hand at air brushing. I'm reading through the basics and watching the videos, but I'm hoping someone can answer a basic question for me... would a normal garage air compressor do the job? I have this little guy filling my tires: http://www.amazon.com/PORTER-CABLE-C...dp/B000N5UHK0/

If I'm reading the intro threads correctly, I could then get a nice airbrush like this: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...lipse-Airbrush

Mate it to a cable like this: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ed-Air-Hose-10

And be good to go?

Also, Not sure what the regulator will go down to but you need very little pressure to airbrush. 20 pis or less. Might need an additional regulator if the built-in will not go that low.

Right, valid point, I was just thinking about that based on what I've been reading. Thanks for the heads up!
