Nice work guys(and girls?).

E.T., alot of corners in that body, to try and mess up the work, nice and clean!

Here is a Illuzion TTR S3 body, I painted it for some choices of what to use on the site, .

Thanks JayBee.

Jim - Yes, that body took me a long time to trim.....
Nice work on the buggy! I'm working on a 'MF2' body now, will post it when I'm done.

Cheers....

Cassidy just does a kickass job, no one can deny it either. Everyone always asks who paints my car when I go to the track lol.

Default Steady hands...

Hey fellas,

For a guy with slightly shaky hands, and who also loves to paint, how do you suggest getting nicely drawn "scallops"? Will a french curve help me out? I would like to 'jack a few of the designs I see on here, but as I get older I find that I cannot draw like I used to. I can follow just about any line with a blade, but drawing freehand is increasingly difficult for me. Any help or suggestions welcome.

Thanks,
Tommy

This was the 1st time i made a pattern go into the window area, and used teh masks that come with the body.......learned I need to be really careful and to press down the edges really hard....some runs appeared....I think i will just stick to using liquid mask if i intend to do patterns in this area....

And the back should not have been white, I think a mid blue would have been better....oh well

The easiest way is to sketch onto paper, then put the paper inside the body and follow the lines, that way you can use whatever tools you need to make the initial design!

Thanks, I am thinking i will run it as a practice body, there are too many little runs in the paint to sell it....which sucks.

DodgeGuy, Who did you paint that for?
I have some stuff running in Cleveland too!
Are you going to be there?
I would like to see that body up close and get hooked up with you.

Hope to see you there.
