Default 3 New Novarossi engines comming out!!!!!

Has anybody heard of these 3 new engines comming out by novarossi, wondering when they will be released.........I may want the .12 1.68 hp sounds expensive.

I got the info from Redrc.com

Novarossi World have introduced these 3 new high end competition motors, suitable for use in multiple disciplines. First off is the Plus 353 Race, a new .12 engine for the 200mm touring car class, that boasts an impressive 1.68 hp with maximum revs of 42,000rpm, this EFRA legal 3 port engine features ceramic bearings and has an 11.90mm crankshaft. The next engine up is the Plus 359 Race, a 3.5cc .21 engine for circuit racing that features an incredible 9 ports, ceramic bearings throughout, and boasts 2.90 hp and a maximum rpm of 38,700. The final new motor is another 3.5cc beast, the Plus 367 Buggy, for off road use that has the most horse power of all the 3 engines, with Novarossi claiming that this 7 port engine can get 2.97 hp and can punch out 35,000rpm. Both the .21 engines feature 14.5mm crankshafts

Hmmm...from your description of the new Nov .12 engine, it's the Nova Plus 12-3 SCT engine. I hve been running this engine since early December 2006. This engine has all the things you mentioned plus the added benefit that it has an o-ring between the turbo hed and the top most portion of the crankcase where the top part of the sleeve is located. This feature helps keep the dirt out... Here's a picture of the engine that I'm running... Also, the package came with #5 special plug, stickers, collet, 5.4mm plastic venturi, Novarossi logo patch, instruction manual, parts manual...

There is 4 new Novarossi engines one is already out and thats the 21 plus 5k and 21 plus 5kt. There are very simlar to the 21plus5and 5t except they have a very difrent powerband from what i have been told is quieter yet makes very big torque numbers with the same clamed hp and rpm's as the 21plus5 and 21plus5t.

They still dont have the plus .12 sct on there yet and its been out, whats up with that...
Here is another pic of the 353 plus .12 I found on the JP web site, so its not the sct.

Hmm...The head looks different. Would you happen to know what is the difference between the plus 12-3 SCT and the new plus 2? Can't wait to get one myself. As of now, I have been very impressed with the SCT Lots of power and it still wants to go faster and faster

I can say they will be something special and i can not wait for them to hit the shops around the world. Regards Jeremy.

"The N21B 2000 is a Buggy engine. Based on the CLB engine, its sleeve has 4 ports and the 14mm crankshaft is modified and HardBlack coated. The 4 ports sleeve has been tried and tested for a long time and the engine is smooth in use and has a very low fuel consumption. With its plastic carburetor with interchangeable reducer, the engine power and consumption will be easily settled according to the driver and the track conditions. The normal glowplug offers a high flexibility to this famous Buggy engine."

353 Plus 2 .12

367 Plus 2 Buggy .21

359 Plus 2 On Road .21

Regards,

Nick

as can be read from the NOVAROSSI site:
the 3 stands for the amount of transfer ports in the crankcase;
the 5/6 is for the thickness of the front bearing;
and the 3/7/9 is the number of transfer ports in the sleeve.

the .12/.21 is the displacement....
I had some tracktime with them, and yes the difference is noticable...different powerband then the 35 plus 21 imo

the lightweigth cooling head is a neat trick :P gives a better car handling to!!

Novarossi World is the coolest, I like the way they came up with the names for the engines. I think Nova World is making some great changes I can see them geting cheaper prices as time goes on and more things becoming avable. I wonder how long it will be befor they try to branch right out into things like cars and hand tools ect?. Best Regards Jeremy.
