LRP ZZ.21C Ceramic
Who make this motor?
LRP ZZ.21C Ceramic

Ryan was able to wheel his truck from almost 16-20 sec back to get to tebo.
Why has no one talked about LRP motors? are they are to get?
or they hard to tune?
Cost?
love to get some info on who else have ran this motor in 2012.
Thanx m

Rebadged OS Speed of some sort. VERY expensive.. Costs more than my whole RC8.2 kit. Nosram just came out with one too.

I guess they are for the team only now. Big $$$$. No doubt a great engine though.

can anyone provide any technical info regarding the LRP ZZ .21 C engine?
so far from what i have gathered is yes this is a rebadged o.s speed but going from the lrp website it states 'all finest materials used in manufacturing' etc etc.
and it also states 'is the factory team drivers spec engine 1:1 exact same engine as the team drivers use.
so thus gives the impresion it has its tweaks etc as someone mention earlier in thread but is the same materials used on the piston and sleeve as the o.s speed?
i would like to know what materials the piston and sleeve are made of if i may.

Do not think the LRP is different, I think the used materials are the same but the engine can only have some differences in timings and extra work (flowing]
What materials are used exactly no one will tell but basicly a sleeve is made of a brass material and a piston is made of an aluminium with a lot of silicon

Here in Germany anyway you can get the twin Nosram version for a good bit cheaper than the LRP-branded one. Exact same engine afaik. Engine and pipe for €379.., whereas just the LRP engine is usually well north of €400...
