Summer NW Events?
Here we are with summer breathing down our necks and I've only seen one race of a largish scale, that being RCSR's bash at Parkrose in P'land June 26th.
Are we doomed to repeat last years mishmash of un co-ordinated events or what?
Can we see who's doing what and when and where so we can plan trips.
Please..............it can't be that difficult with the site we have here.

We spent a ton of the clubs energy bringing the Nats to town. RCSR as a group decided to concentrate on the club races this year. Next year we will probably bid on a regional. Weather looks good for saturday turnout should be strong.
We are seeing lots of interest at Liberty and the track is electric friendly.
Bring your pan car we are running stock motors and 8 min heats,1/10 or 1/12 we should have 6 or so.
Stock and 19t sedan
nitro sedan
1/8 gas
We had 20 racers on a crappy weather weekend I expect 30 or more this week. Come out and support On-Road racing.

And a fine job you RCSC chaps did last year. I applaude your effort to make the club scene stronger this year and you chaps were the first to post your Parkrose sized race.
Now we see the Summer Sizzler posted. More will show I'm sure, esspecially if the organizers want a better turn out.
What about the A Main bunch and their car show deal; and Ron's Salem airport bash ?
Is it possible to have a calender on this site and have the gaps filled in as races show ?
By the way, 8 minutes 1/10th pan !! Is that on 4 cells or what ?

Fritz's suggestion but I haven't bought a battery pack in two years we will have to see.

We are running an 8 min Le Mans class for all the low turnout class cars. So far we have had 10th and 12th Pan, the x-ray 12th sedan, and F-1's with nobody dumping yet (although only two race days). It is open motors and batteries.
My first few run were with 10th pan, stock motor and 2400 bats. Didn't have any problems with run time. It will be a fun class for you guys to start up.

Rain City/Sarcar Saturday is having a 2 day event on June 4th and 5th, 2005.
Race info soon.
Also, Sarcar is inviting everyone tol the electrics to the Pacific NW Fuel Championships on July 23 and 24th.
I can start putting things on our new calendar, (or Allen can) when I get it figured out. It's pretty cool, I just don't know how to use it yet.

Well for the Tamiya TCS racer's, our regional event is aug 7, for the race itself. Saturday the 6th will be practice.
With all the new tamiya cars that people are pickin up, check out the Tamiya website for info on the international series we are part of.
Good luck
