Good times! At first I thought the course was way too tight for nitro, then I started to really get into it. Then about 20 minutes into the main I got bummed out. I thought, this is the last 5 minutes of a nitro main for the rest of my summer.... so enjoy it! I did! The 8:20 fuel stops worked flawlessly. Gotta thank the Panda for squeezing fuel all weekend, he was perfect just like mod tc win. I really need to thank Mike for the loaner engine after my NR coughed a bearing Friday night. It was great to see the out of towners come support this race: Darren, Devin, Leighton, and I am sure I missed a couple. I am an hour out, does that make me an out of towner? Leighton got a crash course in nitro starting with how to properly install a servo arm all the way to how to hot rod the clutch. I was so impressed with him, he came full circle, from disastrous to fully completing the 25 minute main and finishing 5th. Well done! Devin and Jake provided an incredible show in stock tc, truly two of our NW top drivers locking horns. And on the mushy side, I am so excited to see the rise of Phill Gibbons in VTA (and stock tc). I understand that he has been racing the NW for a while, but with his Hangar experience, is quickly rising to the top ranks. Keep an eye peeled for this guy, he's coming! Thanks Dave and Crew for the race! Couldn't have asked for better weather. I think that you guys dumped out all my raffle tickets and replaced them LP. I am going to use an ink pen next time instead of pencil.

As everyone stated, thanks to the FW crew for great Sizzler. A big thanks to all of our out of town guest for making the trek down here and bringing some serious competition to our track. The best part about this weekend was watching the girls go at it in Novice. That was awesome! Thanks everyone for making it happen.
