I talked to Darren briefly at the nats race. Glad to hear it will be happening. I am sure it's in the back of his mind.... lots of off-road going on and he will get something going soon.
Looks like it will be Spokane, Tri Cities, SIR, RC PLUS, and TZR... any one else?

How about BigDad's Raceway and Hobby in Clackamas, Oregon? They are running carpet races Wednesday night and Saturday. Mostly 1/12th lately, although it is expected TC will get hot when Fall comes around.

I talked to Russ @ Big Dad's and he also said he was going to be part of the series...which will be great. His track looks good, kind of small, but great looking, plus he's a pretty good guy so it should be a good race there.
I plan on running modified foam and novice, which I think should be permitted since I won't have any practice until then ... well, unless you count Vegas..

I do not think any brushless should be running along side SPEC brushed motors in a points series. Open Modified is one thing, but 19T is a SPEC brushed class, Stock is a SPEC brushed class. If we're going to run brushless, I am open to it, but we need a 13.5, or a 10.5 BL class. I would even be willing to run a foam 13.5 class, that would be fun, but no way should we have 10.5's running with 19T's - regardless of which may have an advantage or disadvantage.
Comparison can be done via lap time comparison of the two seperate classes at the same event. Finding out one has an advantage 2 races in while people are racing for points is going to cause nothing but headache.
I am not trying to come off as an ass about it, but that's just my contribution to the subject..

So Mike, let's see if we can get enough interest in 10.5 class for 1/12th. I'm committed to make all of the NWIC races this year. If we could get enough for a class at every event, it would certainly be a good baseline for 19T vs. 10.5 for the 2008-9 season.

i dont think we should be dividing the class's anymore then they already are.
class's with two car B Mains suck for the people that race them and the people that watch them. stick with what we have now.

I'm glad to see all of the excitment around this season. I will be working with the tracks in the series in the next 3 to 4 weeks to finalize this years schedule.
I don't see much change in the classes from last year, but we may make a couple of tweeks.
We will be following a standard handout rubber tire again this year for the rubber tire class. That decision has not yet been made on what it will be.
5 cell will also be allowed in modified with an appropriate weight.
More news to come shortly.
