Doc, I know that one about being too "mature" shall we say.

That was a great time at that show-even with the burn out smoke
Hubby and I are planning on coming over for the Car d'Lane show on Father's Day weekend. Have some friends in Spokane, who are alumni supporters of Gonzaga, to cruise with. If your racing, maybe we can "cruise" by.

Actually, we are racing that weekend. As my good friend Bob Barker would say, "come on down". Of course only we "mature" folks would know that line.

ASPHALT & FATHER'S DAY!!!!!!!!

COME ONE, COME ALL - LET'S RACE!!!

I think we'll have trophies for that one!

And Scott - quit using my line!!!

Guys, my Sat is booked this weekend, but my Sunday is wide open. Since I can not seem to get any local 1/8th scale racing, why not come over see the boys over the hill? I will try to see if load the car up and come visit for the day. Doc, I think I have a special rod shrinker in my tool box. I keep it right next to the JB Weld the the zip ties.

Brett; if you make it over, I will let you take the Evolva out for a tank or two. You will push that electric stuff to the side faster then a garage sale.

Hey all,
Just got back from over the hill. We got in a pretty amazing track day in Spokane. This was their first set up and practice day. I think that it caught a few locals off guard as it turned out to be a perfect day for racing. This track was flat. I would say: there are no bumps. We wore tires down to 67.5mm before tossing them to the trash. (1/8th scale). Traction was #4 on the Tippo meter of a scale of 10. We burned fuel all day. A bunch of folks stopped by to check out the action and asked a bunch of questions. Transmitters got passed around with the freindly comment: "try this!" From what I saw, Damien and Marcus are going to be Spokane's newest 1/8th scale drivers. Marcus drove my car and after some taunting, he really started "wheeling it" the correct way. Let's just say that he had a really big grin.

Brett; didn't see ya there. You too, could have peeled a set of tires and a few tanks.

Thanks Doc & Gang for the day of play!!!

Guys, do Doc a favour... get involved... help him out. You'll be glad you did. Doc's passion for 1/8th scale cars is undeniably there... just offer some support and everyone will have a blast. We did!

Yeah, 1/8th scale onroad is SERIOUSLY fun! ... and the way I was driving, it's about $2 / minute in tires alone!

Thanks so much for coming over guys!! Great to see you guys on the track, especially Brad Johnson after a year's sabatical. I think everyone had a good time. I'm sure if our schedule didn't conflict with Time Zone, we would have had a few more of you westerners.

Our next race is on June 4th. We'll have a few more locals out then, including electrics. Hope y'all can make it over. Reduced entry fees for those that do show!!

Once again.......a big thank you!
