ammdrew,
This is a private person operation that makes this titanium 2speed shaft. I don’t want to give out his phone number or e-mail address to the masses. WAR PARTY RACING is his own racing club here locally in Texas.
You can PM me if you want to get in contact with him.....

Clutch engage adjustment.
Hi Guys,
My clutch seems to engage at too high revs and as I'm still doing my run-in, I want to still start off with low revs.
I take it, that I have to adjust the screw item detailed in Step 8.3 of the 705 manual.
Logically, I would lessen the gap from its original 9.2mm, but this isn't described in the manual.
Could someone provide some input here?
Many thanks, Mark.

Thanks, InitialD! I'll just rebuild the gearbox and try that out :-)
Just another quick one. I've got the engine running rich at them moment, and when I open the accellerator a bit (1/3), an orange oily gue comes out of the exhaust - build up of mosture and oil I take it. Is this normal during a rich setting?
Thanks once again, Mark.

That is normal for the oil to come out from the pipe if you set it to rich. The colors u see mostly depends on the type of fuel u use.
I suppose it is a new engine, don't forget to break-in your engine.

Titanium Shaft
Just got the Titanium 2-Speed shaft last night after visiting the guy that sell it. Very friendly guy. All i can say it looks identical to the stock shaft BUT with almost Half the weight!!! I do not have a scale to weight it, but i can really tell the weight different. The titanium shaft is so much lighter!!! That would improve the mass for the drive-train.
