Hey guys !! totally new to this sport...just bought a Kyosho FW-05T

bought some 10% nitro fuel....

did everything stated on the instructions...

engine started up once...but died....now it doesnt start up

i have no idea why...ive done everything as stated...

i have a feeling it is the glow plug...i charged it for a whole night...but when i insert it into the top bit it isnt hot i dont think...instructions say its spos to glow red when you take it out...

any suggestions guys ??

install a fresh glow plug.

if you have the instructions manual, put back the needle setting to factory and start from there. if you don't, try researching the forums or internet for your particular engine's factory needle settings.

GLow Plug ????? Could Be !!!

Could be several things, Air leak in tubing, To lean of set up, etc.....

From your post I am assuming that you mean you actually took the glow plug out of the top of the engine to check it.
You stated you charged you glow plug all night, I am assuming you mean your glow plug ignitor (Tool) and then checked to see if the red coil on the bottom of the "Glow Plug" is red, not the tool end.

If all is well then take off your air filter and try putting your finger over the exhaust hole of your exhaust pipe and then try to start it to make sure that fuel is entering your carbuerator.

If all is still well, then try a new glow plug as JO stated ROFL !!!!

try a new glow plug. it won't hurt. and if just in case you didn't need it replaced, put it in your box as a spare, because you will definitely need it in the future.

I don't know but 10% nitro fuel? Seems a little low on Nitro content.

have u tried just flushing it out and trying again????\
that might work had the same prob with my trail 70 and i just flushed everything and put new everthing else in it and now it runs like a dream

Put a new glow plug into a fully charged glow plug igniter and it should glow red. If it does and your engine still will not start check for fuel flow. First off, and it may sound stupid but i've done it, make sure the fuel cut off clip is not squeezed. Cover the outlet on the exhaust and crank it a few times. If your finger gets a little fuel on it you have fuel flow. You may still have a leak but it should not be enough to keep it from starting. Hope this helps a little.

hi guys....engine started at last....

i dno wt was the problem...i adjusted the needle very slightly and the glow plug was fine loL !!
