I'm glad you brought that up..... Any recommendations on fluid setup would be highly appreciated (Shock oil & Diff oil)...... Racing set up not basher please.....

if your interested in a serpent with all upgrades
pro brakes alum center diff mount, 0 deg steering hubs, 0 deg casterr blocks
hard springs all the optional toe plates
Cars has been raced at nationals Qualified 3rd
and will race this weekend at the pan american race at homestead.
and thats it only two races on it.
send me a pm $350 roller 450 with servos and 550 with maxy mod engine rtr
minus radio and transponder

good luck at the races this weekend.... I wish I could be there to see it all go down.... Hopefully somebody will put a video on youtube.... Pictures of the vehicle would be nice,that way I can keep up with the said vehicle at the race.... Truth be told I would really like to be in the race,well anyway I am interested I would really like to see some pictures of the said vehicle....I really haven't made up my mind yet as far as wiTch vehicle I want to get but know this win lose or draw you have my undivided attention and I am very much interested.... I'm still trying to figure out how to work all this stuff so can you meet me halfway please

is the x3 body for a short chassis?
will it fit on the serpent?

You will have problems with rear body mount. You will need the Serpent RTR rear mount. I fixed a post in the center of the kit version to work.

The kit mount position on the rear does fit using the outside posts.

Only thing you need is two new holes as the distance is wider and they are located more backwards.

Kit body post only have one position. The RTR version has 2. Inside and out.

I have a kit version here that does have two positions.

But there is also a smaller (older/newer ?) version with the same part number only having the inner mounting positions.

So there might be kits out there having different content.
