Default IGT8 PRO KIT vs Serpent Cobra GT vs X3GT

I am looking to get my first GT on road vehicle.....I'm looking for a good quality durable yet fast vehicle....which is the most complete vehicle of the 3? Looking to do some bashing but more race orientated.......I've heard a lot of negative things about the x3 GT.....just trying to figure out which car is for me,I haven't heard too much about the IGT8.....less wrenching and more driving would be awesome.....Help me out fellas, lead me in the right direction please.....A owners opinion of these vehicles would be a plus for me...... Thanks in advance....

The IGT8 is the same car as the X3 but with parts you would want on the car. The X3 is very competive but more racers run the Serpent. If you like running something a little different and finding how to set it up for your style of racing get the X3. If you want someone to tell you how to set up the car get the Serpent.

I've run the Ofna Dm1 and X3 but race with many friends who run the Serpent, and you really can't go wrong with either.

I can tell you the durability of the Serpent Cobra is very good indeed. I haven't broken any of my cobra cars (buggy, truggy or GT) and there hasn't been any appreciable wear either. I have a buddy who has the X3 and he has broken stuff but it's still a good car. I'm very pleased with the cobra.

I've run the X3 for almost two years with several hard hits and no issues. Brake set up is better with the Serpent, and that is about all. Weight balance is better with the X3 and seems to be easier on tires.

IGT8 pro seems good, only thing I don't like is the stock plastic suspension blocks.

The Cobra GT is available as a kit car.

What you need in addition is the 10° C-Hubs and a set of hard springs.

That's it !
