Default OFFICIAL:CM Infinity 1/8 Nitro On-Road Car

Japanese company Creation Model are aiming to be the latest entrant into the resurgent 1/8th on road market with their newly announced brand called Infinity. Developed by former Japanese National Champion and World Championships podium finisher Masao Tanaka the car is to be made in Japan and targets customers who demand the highest quality with on-track performance to match.

CM supports the policy of all products by “MADE IN JAPAN”. INFINITY expresses the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship and this traditional craftsmanship will continue creating products to all RC car users satisfied.

7075 T6 6.0mm Main Chassis
INFINITY adopts 6.0mm 7075 T6 aluminum which gives bifacial processing in main chassis. In particular, it prevents deterioration in controllability and provides improvement of the limitation at the high speed cornering. With this, rigidity improves drastically and it restrains the behavior change in the cornering. In addition, the rear part to the engine mounted place is 5.0mm thickness and has flexibility. With adding thickness from the front to the center of main chassis, weight balance of car transfers to under side. It helps to ease the outbreak of traction roll on high grip road surface. The design is arranged high rigidity and flexibility for suitable each part.

Front and Rear Bulkhead
Division typed highly precise aluminum bulkhead is adopted at the front part. It has strong preference with a shape of the whole bulkhead and the setting that “is not too much high” in rigidity. With this, smooth run is enabled. The main place is aluminum as well as the rear bulkhead; however, it is the hybrid specification to compose the rear partition made by resin. With including resin parts, cars gain elastic travel motions. Piano wire typed stabilizer is equipped both front and rear bulkhead. The user can choose preference in running from two different installation direction of the rear.

Suspension Arm
Both front and rear suspension arms are created from hard resin materials. We see many cars now by using flexible materials for suspension arms, however, we believe that one made by hard resin materials is the basis of suspension system to pause speedy traveling.By means of this, the driver can adjust an oil damper setting minutely. Also, it allows to get sense in different tires (wheels in particular). These can gain advantages in various races. Various adjustments are capable such as a bush exchange, suspension arm length by spacer replacement, a tread, caster angle and camber angle. By scrupulous trial runs, the drivers are available in choices along running conditions.

Drive Train
This is also orthodox 4WD of 3 belt drive. It is with a division method to operate docking hard steel joint coating with high durability to sharpening an aluminum one-way axle in the front and an axle processed with in the rear. The high durability is compatible with light weight. In addition, universal swing shaft, realization of smooth driving, is included as a standard equipment. In particular, INFINITY is along with shorter swing shaft than those of others so that the traction comes to be felt directly. The front and rear wheel axle adopts the light weight and high strength type that put hard coating for 7075 aluminum. Remarkably, INFINITY includes parts as standard equipment that other companies usually supply as optional ones. The brake is set on rear axle, not on the main shaft and brake “rear tire” surely more linearly. 2 speed mission is of course a standard figure as also.

Oil Damper
The oil damper adopts the orthodox method that encloses diaphragm. The Highly precise cylinder applies to hard molybdenum coating to carry out smooth operation. In addition, it succeeds in minimizing deterioration of the oil. Again, an O-Ring in support of damper shaft uses a type with “an X type cross section’. Through careful and close examination of the materials, it is enable to operate running in stable performance without breaking.

Clutch
Clutch applies to the weight of the leading type. By an effect with a thin lightweight flywheel and a clutch bell made by aluminum, the engine fully demonstrates the power. The clutch shoe is compatible with INFINITY original based aluminum clutch bell and suitable for long stretch races by the high durability. Also, pinion gear attached to clutch bell is exclusively strong in enduringness by 7075 aluminum hard coating.

very excited to see the growth of brands at this stage nowdays as this may lead to affordable kits in the future.. ive always wanted to get back to this type of class since i raced with my brother in the 235mm class ) but the main cost is engine/pipe combo which is nuts to majority of people.. eh kits are 450 - 550 for a semi pro kits.. and 669 - 750 for top notch kits.. other wise new developments are exciting.. japanese yes please.. rep for engineering excellence

agreed, no offense that most design on other cars are deviated from pietsch since he designed from V8.
it seems that not much innovation for years already, it's sad.
1/8 on-road GP seems to be for older people.

Although Motonica is still a choice the model is not changed a lot over the last year and is for the last 2 years not really changed. As I can see it is not a wanted model for the next season.

And you forget BP and WRC
