Hi Everyone.....I have a C02 and was wondering if the Serpent 1/10 True Motion Centax Clutch Kit will work on it?

Has anyone tried it?

I can get the Serpent clutch kit from Amain who has really reasonable shipping costs, I would order it from RCTarget but their shipping costs to Canada are pretty steep and they use UPS who's import charges are crazy.

I guess I'll order directly from Capricorn in Europe same shipping charges as RCTarget but they have more stock.

Try them, they have good price and they use FedEx so fast shipping too. rc-netshop.dk. I always get parts from them.

I had a couple of folks pm me with cars, I responded, asking for pic.s and price and list of what the cars come with, but haven't heard back from them. I suspect they are busy with work and racing, but I would like to get my hands on a car, if anyone has one. I would look at a roller, with or without servos, or a complete car. Spares are also aways appreciated. Let me know what you have, and the cost of the package you are offering.

Here are the C02 cars I run now.

Maybe somebody can help me out here: I received my C03 BB kit yesterday and in going through the parts and manual it seems I'm missing some parts or parts substituted per manual. This was a brand new sealed box

Page 7 on manual: Tensioner bulkhead should be CAP16080-D as shown on parts list. Included was CAP16080-P. Would also require the Balance Tensioner Shaft CAP2216 (also shown on parts list).

Page 26 on manual: Central Bulkhead Right CAP16036 is shown on parts list. CAP16036-P was included instead.

Page 28 on manual: Shows blade type front roll bar as standard and wire type as optional. Wire type was sent instead. All parts for blade type missing including front sway bar male CAP16006-78.

I've contacted Capricorn on this matter but maybe I'm looking at this wrong.

The car is better in LA with the wire, my kit came with the blade and when I switched to the wire it became better. Actually the hot setup is with the F1 sway bar. Since you're in LA, stop by GLARCRC this weekend and talk to Walter Diaz, he can help you.

No, I had all aluminum parts. Do you have the aluminum parts AND the plastic parts? The plastic parts were released as a tuning option, because the are made of plastic they flex more, some drivesr might like that.

Capricorn responded to my email and said the Plastic parts is what apparently works better on the car? I feel the aluminum parts should of been included in the kit since that's what's shown in the box parts list and there online pictures and let's be honest it's what I felt I paid for...

Update:

I spoke with the US distributor of Capricorn today. I must say if you need anything go through http://www.rctarget.com/ Frank was a great help and helped me with my questions I had.

They should have done the right thing by sending you a check covering the price difference between the advertised aluminum part and the plastic part that you actually received....
You can't pay for Gold and get Lead !!!
