Base settings for OS CVR .12

anyone know what's the factory setting for the high end/middle mixture for this engine?
thanks

After tuning, mine usually runs between 1 1/2 to 2 turns out on high end and flush on low-end with rotary carb. I think the slide on low-end runs just in from flush.:deathstar

hi guys!!

wat do you mean by flush??
i am also trying to tune my 12 cvr but cant seem to get it right, real beginner here.. thanks

Bern, he means the end of the low-end needle is flush with the side of the carb. I own a 12CVR/slide carb. I beleive "break-in" settings are 2 out on the high end needle. I left my low-end needle like it was during break-in and after break-in I started leaning it out(low-end) to get some punch. It's now 90 degrees in from factory settings(like it was when it was in the box). Then just tune your idle stop screw to get a good idle. If you screw out the idle stop screw to far the car will have a hard time idling.

so you mean the low end needle is level with the edge of the screw hole and after running in, you turn 90 degree in?

it seem my idle screw is quite hard to reach, me using v1r. the beam is like obstructing the needle..

thanks for the reply!!
