Hi I just got a serpent 960. It currently has futaba servo arms and I need to change them to Jr ones. Can someone tell if both steering and throttle servos arms are the same or are they different?

2ndly the mid shaft pulley that runs to the front belt. Are these the same part with all serpent models? (im talking about the standard plastic ones not the upgraded aluminum ones)

Thanks!

960 and 966 pulleys are exactly the same, Servo arms for steering and throttle are different, steering servo arms are one sided and throttle servo arms are double sided, and If you are switching to JR then you will need #23 servo arms as Futaba servo have a different spline on the output shaft.

Default os2 rear set up

It seam like every time I try to upgrade one of my serpents something don't go right. I put the os2 set on my 960/08 and the rear dog bone move back and fourth so much that the bones come out of the center diff.

OS2 uses a longer dogbone, also what track width did you set yours at?

Got the conversion kit in stock, you need the new 903156 which is longer, the Old 903156 is shorter.

buy the longer ones, or use the nylon inserts in the axle to stop the dogbone from sliding so far left and right.

The least expensive fix for this is to replace the Serpent rear dog bones with Mugen dog bones - Mugen bones are longer and cheaper. Part # MUGH0291 = $12.
