Rear roll bar position
Hi Guys,
I can't seem to use the rear lower arm centre hole position for my anti roll bar... the rear lower arm seems to be blocking the ball-end.. and when i use the new position on the arm (outermost hole), I have to chamfer the ball ends slightly in order not to allow the ball-end to be binding with the arm.. Pls advice

Are you mounting the swaybar links in front or behind the arm?

Rear roll bar position
I'm mounting it on the spur gear side... which means i have to tighten the ball using my 3mm allen key from the spur gear side..

Does this happen on both arms, left and right, or just one? Did you try flipping them too? All the cars i've built have had no problem with swaybar mounting positions on the arm. Maybe you can take a picture, to help illustrate your problem.

I've tried flipping them over, it got worst.. currently i'm using the hardest hole, after some chamfering the ball joints it fits, i suspect mine could be the old 960-07 arms.. because i have some parts problem when i got this kit..

Spur gear side? Does this mean you are mounting the link with the screw through the mounting tab, from rear to front, leaving the link (with ball and ball end) on the front side of the mounting tab? If so, that is wrong. The screw goes in from the front, the sway bar link mounts on the rear of the mounting tab. When using the outermost position, you can't get a completely straight shot at it. The shock mount is a bit in the way. I have to use a ball driver because of the slight angle. No champfering of any parts required.

But once again, going back to all the previous 960's that have passed through my hands, either way has no problems. I'm boggled. I really want to see a picture..
Btw, 960'07 - 960'08, rear lower arms, the only change made was the pivot ball placement, in that they became closer together.

Now that I look at mine, with the new OS2 arms, it looks like it would be better the other way around. Can't imagine what's wrong with his.

As for the shims, I put all on the outside, but I still have some slop, so bought some more shims to remove the slop.
