stock setting is 1 turn from full open, which is where it's at now.

I just got done taking the carb off the motor and making sure all was well and it looks to be. Now I'm wondering if this isn't and idle problem but a clutch problem.

Well listening to the car would help me figure that out. But im pretty sure when you say the car shifts into second , that alone makes me believe that the rpm is too high.

Your clutch might also have some trouble if you know how they go or have the manual it shouldnt be too hard to dissamble and inspect that to knock that out of the way.

Also when you re-install the carb , put a lot of pressure down on it when tightening the car screw this will help make a tight seal.

Oh, well I should emphasize that it's definitely not running that fast anymore. It's running very steady. It's just all 4 wheels are spinning while it's doing it

So far I haven't been using any of the electronics. So that shouldn't be a factor... should it?
