The function is called 'start assist' in the manual of my 3PK and sets the throttle open just a little bit so the engine starts easier. You can bind the function to a button on the transmitter if you want (I have it set to the toggle button on the back of the 3pk).
That's another thing I like about the 3PK; the ability to bind any button and dial to nearly any function.

Doesn`t all the others have binding function as well as start assist?

Or is that function only found in the 3pk? I`ve heard the the M8 has that too.

Btw, these compared to the EX heilos, which would u guys prefer in terms of functions?

i had an M8 for years and sold it for the futaba just because i wanted a new radio. For me the m8 felt better and i could actually make quick adjustments on the drivers stand. So if you want a futaba mine will be for Sale since i'm going back to Airtronics. fyi the m8 also has the warm up function. the futaba is also easy to go through but i think the some of the functions is split in incorrect submenus.
