Looks like it has a front wire sway bar and shock mounting extensions on the front lower arms and possibly the rear as well.

I don't think there is any ground breaking designs here, just use proven designs from other brands and combine it all into a new model. Nothing wrong with that, everyone does it.

I'm sure this car will be very good!

No real ground breaking things indeed, but just made better, smarter.
This will be the easiest 8th scale car to work on, I believe.

But I will not share to many details, just wait for the pictures to pop up on Serpent's website!

On large events the performance is a bit behind others.....

I don't think that has to do with the car, but more with the lack of real top drivers and little pre-event testing. Which I think is because of a limited budget.

Lack of budget, maybe, but maybe it's policy, think about that.

What wins on Sunday nowadays doesn't sell a lot more on Monday.

Paolo's 966 was a rocket. So to say the Serpent lacks performance is wrong. His 966 held the lap record at Homestead prior to the worlds.
