Rear shock tower, for me also the front shock tower. If you crash alot like I do, you should consider about changing the quick release shocks and quick release rear upper camber link to like the MTX-3 is.

Anyone use other than mtx4 original pinion gears ? lets say kyosho or serpent ? I'm looking 18/24 pinion gear.

Mugen makes 18/24 for the MTX4.

Just take your time and pay close attention to instructions. The kit goes together very well. Enjoy when your done!

I don't think they are the same pitch... I may be wrong but I know they are different than the gears on the MTX-3.

Same pitch. I would imagine using the 3's pinions you would be way undergeared , but some have tried.

Thanks for the info..... I'l check the pitch.

..... btw, those 18/24 pinions are for mtx4.

I know direct pinions from mtx3 to 4 will be undergear heavily. However, I would like to try that sometime in future hehehe..... Can't imagine the 1st gear is howling very long before the 2nd gear kick in ).
