Anyone else using 5mm front shock towers (two stock 2.5mm mugen shock towers). I had to use this because I broke two original ones in the same turn the same way. I havent noticed any disadvantage on it, has anyone else that tried it have?

Haven't really hear of the front tower breaking. Is this the next thing? What are you hitting man? These aren't demolition derby cars!

Full throttle against a 6x2 piece of board coming out of a S turn. May have been full throttle, but the car wasn't at full speed. Trust me, with the 5mm shock tower, my car can compete in a r/c car demolition derby. I removed the original shock spacers and replaced them with 1mm spacers.

I have been thinking of making the rear shock tower 6mm with two skyline shock towers... Do you guys think it may be too much?

Riketsu: The front shock tower, I had broke 2 of these at the winternats against those famose STEEL boards, but P-Dub racing http://www.pdubracing.com/products.htm helped out with a new front foam bumper. Since then, I hadn't had a problem. I had made 4mm ones and also if you go thicker than 4mm in the rear, forget about the tower breaking, you will break everything else on the car first.

Hello rcfoolz, I didn't see a bumper for the mtx4, and was wondering if you were using the mtx3 bumper, thank you in advance.

Any of you had this same problem? How did you solve it?

Thanks in advance

I stripped my first gear (2nd 53t) the other day (one that came with the kit) lasted 4 months of racing and practice

get the steel pinions last for ages and make the spurs last longer aswell

Yes my brake works. I have it set to where I barely have brakes. I just want my brake to shift the weight from rear to front
