Mugen MTX-4

Hi, I'm average driver with average skills . Sometimes I get lucky in B main or lower mains depending on the race event. My home track is medium open consisting of 1 long & 1 short straight, 2 sweepers and 3 S corners. The grip is usually medium in the morning and it becomes high grip in late afternoon.
My car is stable on straight, relax handling, not very aggressive, don't spin in long sweeper, don't flip yet , and slight understeer if you miss the corner. Basicaly is Slow In Fast Out style.
I'm racing with this setup :

If you are asking for ideas to give you more steering going in to the turn, I think that I would try putting the front width at 199mm and the back at 200mm. Let the front arms hang down a little more. 1 deg. of toe out in the front. Put gray springs in the rear.
I also noticed that you where running #400 oil on a smooth to med. surface. I would try to go up in oil weight if the track is smooth at least in the rear of the car. A lighter oil will usually give you more traction on that end of the car that you put it in.
Caster I think you have to try changing and see what happens. I don't think that it always works the same at every track.
Hope that this helps.

This is by one of my favourite driver Keisuke Fukuda, one of the world level drivers and one of the best drivers for MugenSeiki Japan, he is winning races with the MTX4 in japan recently. Hope this may give u some idea.

Guys, I'm finally happy with how my car is handling now. The track was high bite today. I ended up changing the front shock springs to dark blue and 700wt oil. To the rear I went to 500wt oil. I think the biggest change I made was 45shore all around. The car just seems to gain a lot of rear traction when I went to the 45shore rear.

Also I finally can feel that car is better than my V-One RRR especially in the high speed sections.

Dark blue is harder springs than light blue.
