Default 966TE, Version 2, Version 3, 977 ?

I have been out of racing for over a year now and really wanting to get back into it and I will be seeking a new car. I really want to try and run with a Serpent 966 but just a little confused on which one to get.

Is the 966 TE Version 2 the lastest and greatest for Serpent ? I read that there might be a Version 3 and even a 977 kit coming out ? So am just trying to get some info so I can make sure I can find and buy the latest and best kit.

Thanks for any info and help.

Talk to Sam at Kamikaze. He'll steer you in the right direction on anything Serpent.

A new Serpent 977 would be nice to look and drool at.

It's thought and rumoured there may be a new car in 2013 but nobody knows for sure and to be honest any 966 whether it be the original, evo , TE or the latest TE v2 are all awesome 1/8 circuit cars.
I ran a 960 and 966 before venturing to other makes for a few years but have come back home with a 966 TE and to be honest the Serpent is still tops in my book for reliability durability which makes racing more fun.
