Kyosho Inferno GT, GT2 Race Spec
#196
I'll have to add 2 diff cups to my order. I have a gt1 that I wanna make race ready. Currently it's stock gt1 with front swing shafts,20* c hubs and kyosho special turn buckles.
What chassis braces should I go with? I will be running the gt1 chassis so I think my only option is the kyosho round tub style. Dragon racing (eBay company) has aluminum ones but I'm unsure if they will fit

Cole here is another suggestion
Run the front diff with a Very Thick front diff oil 120 or higher and adjust the steering from the rear with 30 or 40 weight. or whatever you want to try. Works great for us. Kinda like what a common TC with front and rear diffs would do
Give it a shot worst you can do is blast me if you dont like it I have tough skin
Options are Good

I would try 150K to 200K in the front with at least 10K in the rear.

I am partial to the Dragon Racing/King Headz braces that don't use the ball ends. Just because that's one less place for flex. To use the solid Dragon Racing/King Headz braces though you're going to need the 777 rear upper torque rod mount. Kyosho KYOISW050 or Dragon Racing DGR0003.

1966ss The 777 mount works fine on the GT1 chassis.

What shock mounting positions yields the most steering?
Right now I'm front upper inner hole, front lower outer hole. Rear upper in the inner hole, rear lower in the inner hole.
