Yes Jacko, the optional parts are coming next week. Overall quality of the kit so far is pretty nice.

Hey Guys,

Got my first onroad car last week and since I'm posting here, it is Serpent Cobra GT!!

Love the construction of the car even though I think much can be improve on the battery and throttle servo placement. Other than that, all looks good.

Had an issue with one of the shock shaft (tip too big) but that got shorted out by the LHS.

Need to get some recommendation/opinion from you guys who are more familiar with this GT.

1) What upgrade/tuning parts would you guys recommend I get?

2) The engine in the picture is my off road engine but I'm getting an onroad engine soon. Having problem deciding on the following engine, O.S. Engines 21XZ-R Speed, Novarossi KEEP-ON.21 9 Port or Novarossi 35 Plus 21 TUNED 9 Port .21. I'm familiar with OS but never used any Novarossi engine before but looking at its availability Nova seem to be big with onroad comparing to OS. Any thought on the engine will be much appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Vital upgrade is Aluminium 2 speed bulk heads.......the plastic pieces melt and cause a no brake situation.not good. And a motorized screw driver set, if you wanna quickly change gears on the two speed you need to free up the radio tray so it will give a little jiggle room. Just for the sake of 2mm !!

Hudy make a ball ended 2mm driver that will allow adjustment of 2 speed shift point, all other tools fail unless you fudge your own.

Great car though, just love the way it gave me a second over my old car straight out of the box, and now I've tweeked it to suit my world famous driving style.!!
