Today i stripped and cleaned the carbie in petrol.

But still the pulsing and high idle after a full burst. I see small bubbles in the fuel line, not sure if this is enough to cause a problem or not, not alot or very big but thyre there.

The car seems to be running great, a few tunning issues which turned out to be glow plugs etc...annoying. also took it in for another tune after the pulsing issue which turned out to be that the car was running too lean. which is a bit scary, but i ran it in really really well....and richened it a bit and now the pulsing is gone!

anyway the car is running really well now, took it out today and was awesome, i just have a steering issue i will get into soon!

Now, my next issue which is not engine related! but more setup realated more with camber and suspension etc. I have a local track which im trying to get around like the electric car (they make it look so easy).

But i keep pushing the back out and spinning out really easily! almost on every corner. Im using no body, rubber tyres with quite a bit of camber on the rear tyres! any idaes on this, i want to race it with the electric (also are the electrics easier or is it just practice?)

The other issue is steering. If i trim it so its straight on the remote, after about 3 -5 minutes, the steering is way out again. veering way to the left/right im not too sure, it just doesnt stay straight!

But otherwise im really happy with the way its running!

Good to see you're still enthused with nitro. Be careful around the electrics, they can dump a lot of ampacity on you and set your attitude back a few volts!

I personally don't like running without the body for longer than getting in a carb tune. It seems that the car becomes a magnet for damage, plus you lose the downforce your body hofefully built in.

Is the stance of your car closer to level or too much nose-down? I'd experiment with stiffer front springs or more front spring pre-load with shock adjustment or spacers...in small steps. Have you changed shock oil or checked to see if there is any left since first runs with car?

'Setup' is an art in itself. You mentioned camber..."lots" to me is not a good thing. I would try getting the car to 'neutral' and make small changes. Do you also have "lots" of front 'tow out', I don't use much.

The steering trim thing sounds as though you put a few hits on the stock type servo gears (plastic) that may be losing teeth and the servo 'saver' may have 'saved' its last...

Good to hear you got some better runs off the motor. "SIZZLING sounds" are not good (from earlier post).
