I was at the Shizuoka show, and actually held this car on my hands. My feelings is that its a "wannabe" FW05, but with its geometry I think it should handle quite well. I just hope that the parts are more resistant to wear than Kyosho.....
I also saw the V One RRR and it looks more promising. A true "mini-Evolva".

looks good, tamiya have got their act together.. even if it does look like an FW-05R

Compared to Mugen, Kyosho parts wears easily....
Look at Kyosho ball links, it wears much easier than Mugen ones, 10 tanks and Kyosho ball links would have play. The Mugen ones would last much longer.
Another case is Kyosho clutch pinions, it even wears faster than the plastic main gears!

The worse part is going to be the costs of parts. I don't know about Austalia but anywhere else that I've seen, Tamiya eats you up with parts costs!
