I have a R40 with normal pulleys and my belt stays on fine. Your belt should not be falling off that easily. Are you running the 22T front pulley or the 23T?

Maybe its time for a new belt. If you have it all the way down and its still falling off, thats a belt problem, not a pully problem.

If your car is new, then you may want to give HPI a holla and let them know about your problem. If your car isn't new, try a new belt.

Good luck.

Check the front pulley!! If you have the 22T pulley on the belt is very loose. Put the 23T on if this is the case.

OK cool. Well you must have messed up the belt somehow. I think Darkseid is right try a new belt first.

There is some info on the R40 thread about this. I have GPM pivotballs in my car, but I am probably not a good example as I dont really crash that hard or often. Some people are suggesting Mugen Pivotballs.

Good luck...

Mine went from 'new' to 'tensioner all the way down' in a hurry. But it has settled in now.
