Default Factory settings Novamega SX12 SS?

Does anybody know the factory settings for the SX12 SS? High-speed? Low-speed?
Thanks.

Are you guys sure on the 3.5 out on the L? I checked three of my engines and they all came in with about 0.75 to 1 turn out? Engine seems to run just fine at that, sometimes I will go to 1.5 out but never more than that.

3.5 seems to be around the factory setting. I have been as low as 1.5 like you mentioned, but this is likely a little lean.

He is asking for a base stock settings...........

Your motors are probably worn in and on the lean side.

Well, Your theory would be correct, except that for every engine I buy I note the needle setings as they are outof the box, on the inside of the box lid itself. Anyway, if you have to err, I guess going rich is always better.

My bottom end needle is between 1.5- 2.5 turns out on most of my engines.

I checked mine before I put all the adjustments back to factory settings and it looks like the low-end was around 3.5.

fmolzer: what engines are you talking about specifically?

I like the idea of a thread with base settings for the various engines. It would be handy for the future.

NS3 .12:s I just checked the one engine I have left that is not even broken in yet, it acctualy ahs a low end needle setting of 1.75 turns from fully closed. These are all hand modded Novamax engines, but I would not ecept them to be that much different??? My NovaMega .12 really, really did come with the low end needle at 0.75 tuns out. hmmmm. 3.5 certainly sounds very, very rich to me, but it appears that there are some variations here. I checked the Novamax that was n my car during winternats, and it has a lowend of 1.75 turns out and I know that worked on the track for a fully broken in engine.
