Would like to hear all opinions on this please. I am getting ready to buy new radio system, should I make sure to get one with ABS? Thanks in advance

Francis is right. The ABS is hard on the battery and the servo. You're much better off just adjusting the endpoints.

I've been wondering about the RX pack runtime thing myself as I was wanting to try my JR R-1's ABS features on my sedan with a oneway....with an 1100 mAh RX pack and the current drain of the average servo & reciever setup you should have plenty of runtime. Calculate a middle of the road average and at best your draining 800-900 mAh out of your RX pack at any given time....this should mean that you have about 70-75 minutes worth of juice which should be plenty for most races.

For front one way adjust your system so that when the throttle is released the brake is just off. Then use the brake trim while racing to apply drag brake (slight brake with throttle at neutral)
The amount of drag brake can be adjusted while driving with the brake trim.
I find that it allows the car to dive into the corners and take a tighter initial line
Cheers
