yes i need assistance in setting it up
post pics please!
what do you mean 1 on each side of the knuckle ( where exactly )?
well after i finished mine, i tried a standard kyosho/mugen wheel on and the QR snaps onto the rim but it doesnt snap on by awhole lot. If i pull on the wheels hard they fly right off and that can't be good going at high speeds
I must be doing somthing wrong.

You put one washer on the axle before you insert it into the knuckle, then put another washer on to the axle on the front side, where the wheel goes. So when its all together you have (starting from the inside, where the cvd is)axle, washer, bearing, bearing washer. Then you add shims between the washer and the drive pin.
You do have the aluminum washers, right? The ones that are tapered on one side. Those are ones Im talking about.

Yes i have similar washers, its kyosho but same measurements.
I will add the washers how you said it and let you know later, I didn't set mine as to how you said it.
thanks for the pictures, i have a better idea now and from you explanation.
the tires are twister, they slide right through and CLICK but the QR isn't as far over as your wheel in the picture.

I drive my car with Twister, and they fit.
So you should be able to figure it out....
1 thing though, if You go to Kawahara, which I also have, they are just a tiny bit wider, so you need more shims on the outside, to offset the wheel more, just as in the pictures of nitrodude...

the wheel wasn't snapping all the way, i have to push the lever over more for it to clip full way.
does this mean i have to keep doing this once i am using twister tires?
