It is different. The threads for the gears are the same but the offset of the gears is different. It also looks like the angle of the clutch bell is different too. Additionally, the Mugen gear pitch is not compatible with the Kyosho so don't waste your time.

I either run 16/20 or 17/21 and 49/45 depending on track size. I have a buddy of mine that runs an entire mugen clutch setup on his evolva. The main reason why I run the mugen clutch bell is beacause I had two Kyosho gears split in two and fly off the Kyosho clutchbell during two seperate races. I never had any problems since switching to the mugen clutch bell and gears.

hey all,
Finially got to run the first actual full race day on the car. Last time i was at the track the comp shut down. But second time driving 8th scale and i got tq and won in sportsman at RAMS. The car was awsome, great weekend.

need rebuilt
hey, can anyone tell how long you will rebuilt the car ? I found the front wish bone and one way cup weared significantly after a few gallon gone thru.
