If you were using the right lube for one-way bearings I wouldn't worry about how much you use as long you use it!!

Yes, its the new PS12 engine. I only ran it in for break-in and it looks promising. I still have to track test it here in Texas, when the rains stop coming on race days!

Thanks JFC_Tech .Yes it is an awesome machine . My fist nitro was my GT4 which is a really nice car but once I got my first serpent Impulse I was hooked on the serpent quality. The 710 just went above and beyond that in the ease of setup .

no prob.u r welcome.
i once driven a GT4(not mine). damn stable car...i tot its 'The' car until ive driven serpent. with its quality and its logo i could not bring myself not to like it. after all, no one like serpent at my place..they say too hard to tune for specific track, this and that..blah blah blah....so many setups blah blah blah....the more i like it.
Mugen mTX3 has been the driving force for increasing sales and hobby interest at our place...so many beginners hook into RC bcoz of MTX3 (Bcoz the top 3 using it).....UNTIL an EP guy like me drove the serpent 710 with STS RS5 engine into A-main...then only they notice it...hahhahahha. shame on me.

psst: that was in the past...now i've been passed by another 710.

I actually like the silver instead of the white better, but I wanted to see if using white paint would make the shell lighter. Indeed it seems it does: my 190mm shell (orange/silver) weighs 108 grams and my 200mm shell (orange/white) weighs 106 gramms. Quite a saving taking into account that the 200mm shell is a lot bigger.

Cheers, Mark.

Only yourself to blame You should have put some MTX-3 stickers on the car and then no one would have questioned you being in the A-main. Now look what's happened: more have the 710 and you're back in the B-main

It's been a fun weekend.
Only one day left.
It's been fun.
I like the fact that I've been going there for free.
The only thing I have had to pay for is parking ($8 a day).
I've been using this time to meet people from each company.

I'm not sure if they meant it will be available in the US in a month or so.
What I got from the conversation was that they were re-tooling the setup tool to fit more of the new cars out, not just the 710.
The one they had on display was still the old one.
