MTX 5

Yep, including Mike Swauger and Robert Pietsch. When even the pros who always have new, fresh equipment that's built right are continuing to have the problem, you know something is up.

But seriously, I had 4 MTX4's and I never ran into that gear stripping problem.
Sure, I've stripped a gear every once in a while, but nothing out of the ordinary.
With the 733 I've been running this season, I stripped plenty of gears though.
It's a bit of a mystery, why some people have this problem so heavily and others don't.

Sorry you feel this way but it has been an issue with some racers. You were fortunate to not have it but many other has had the issue. You just can't "wish" it away just because you never had it. It has cost me wins/top 5 finishes in races with a ton of witnesses to prove it. I always check my gear meshes and motor mount screws but it is something that happens sometimes. Again, just trying to patiently wait on the new car but will experiment with the competition until then. Oh, and I don't hit a bunch of walls and stuff.
I hear ya and i understand that it seemed to be a problem with alot of people i just think its time to move on

Hi Senna!
In my opinion (just gessing) the new MTX5 will folow the steps of it's bigger brother, the MRX5. Features luke aluminium bulkheads, carbon reinforced uprights and maybe even a floating radio plate can be expected. Overal weight reduction compared to the MTX4 would be nice too.
But basicaly i hope that Mugen keeps it's "simple but fast" tradition!
And a car that is fully developed out of the box. Not like other brands that are still launching "extras" one week before the launching of a new car. You know what brands i'm talking about... That's what i never expect from Mugen. Probably what differs mugen seiki from the rest.
