Talking Stefan

Stefan, the bodu is going to be the next hottest body in Nitro touring class. It is a 200mm version of the Parma X20 body. The 190 version is already considered to be a killer body by two world champs and several National Champs. Our testing shows thatcompared to a Stratus, it has more high speed turning and changes direction quicker as well. OB42TC3 tried my beat up practice body and liked it immediately. Then that evening we gave him a body to spray bomb for Sunday and he takes TQ away from me with it

But, thats cool!!! With that body on he got the TQ and the A-main win and I held the fastest single lap in 5-qualifiers and the fastest lap in the A-main. So we are happy with it!!!

Default BTW

is anybody here interested to get a fully hopped up NTC3 with VERY low miles on it?

I bought this car, built it, but I never actually raced it. All it has been through is a couple of setup runs and two 5 minute qualifiers. For some reason, I always go back to my Mugen when the main comes along :-)

Here is what I got:

- NTC3 rear exhaust kit
- Kawahara centax
- GH chassis
- Mugen tank
- dual chamber pipe
- one way
- full grapite kit
- shiny CVD's
- clamping alu wheel hubs
- stainless steel , 1/2 inch long on all top side points ( no stripping threads)
- center aluminum bulkhead
- full spring set
- extra diff, still in bag
- light 2nd gear housing, still in bag
- tranny case, still in bag

etc, etc, etc.

All the parts that have been replaced are still there.
The car is fast as h..l, it just doesn't fit my driving style.

I know, this belongs to the swap thread, but the NTC3 nuts are all here

If you are interested, let me know.
I will take some pics tonight.

Default Sorry guys,

no electronics. I had all digital servos in it which I'll keep as backup.

I do have a brand new, never turned RB X12, SG shaft, 3 port, standard plug that I could sell with the car.

I forgot to mention, that the car also has the RPM bumper and 2 shoe and 3 shoe clutch with a bunch of pinions.

The Kawahara Centax has 25 and 26 teeth second gear pinions, for first gear, the original AE pinions work.
The Centax also comes with the small flywheel and the lowered motor mounts.

So, if I add only the major upgrades up:

-Car $ 275
- Centax $ 100
- Chassis $60
- Pipe $ 50
- Graphite kit $50
- Spring set $30
________________
it comes to $ 565

I'd like to get $400 for the car and $150 for the engine.

Sounds fair?

Super K, I didn't want that Impact for my dyno and I still don't want it now.
How long have you been trying to sell it? 6-8 month?

If you are talking about friction points, yes TC3 is the champion. but no competition so far for the less frction points !!

we are looking at actual performance.
The point I am trying to get across is that with the same amount of power, the NTC3 will always be putting more of it out at the wheels. Say each friction point is 2%,

Then 3-belt=
.98 * .98 * .98 * .98 * .98 *.98 *.98 = .868

Shaft 4WD=
.98 *.98 *.98 = .941

That's a 7.3% power edge; that's the difference between 1.25 HP and 1.35 HP

That's not to say an MTX can't be competitive, set fast laps, win races etc. There's no doubt though that unless the laws of physics are different where you live that the NTC3 would always be the fastest in a straight line.

I rather drive .868 to the checkered flag than .941 for 5 minutes

So if I remove the front belt and mid belt from my MTX-2, it will be faster than a NTC3, because it has only 2 "friction points" now ? On a straight line of course.

are we talking about static or kinetic friction? I was under the assumpiton that friction was only the greatest once the object initialy starts to move(static)...afterwords the coeffeicent of friction is reduced (kinetic)...either way cant we all just get along

I agree - it amazes me how much the TC3 thread keeps getting changed to a "compare TC3 to XXXXX" thread. . .

I don't go to those other (cars') threads, even though I have a GT4. . .and if I did, I wouldn't be bashing them. . .

oh well. . .it's all in fun I mean, we're adults playing with toy cars for bowling trophies! heh heh
