Open is anything goes. Gas tourer is any motor under 0.8 hp. Both classes have open bodies.

What rubber tires were you using and at what track temps?

Sorry 'bout all the questions.

Thanks in advance.

Well, remember you guys (and me recently) got the problem about the rear camber link will got PUSHED IN after you kissed the board...? I finally have someone made those "THE NUTS" like the one from NTC3.........it has 4 nuts for both rear upper camber link and each pair has both LEFT and RIGHT threaded....

First, setup your rear camber as usual....using setup station and setup board.....

Then, LOCK the nuts toward to the end of the ball cup, thats all...I have him to paint some RED or BLUE color on one of the reversed threaded nuts so we will know which one is the reversed nut.....(in this picture, the RED one is the one)

I have tested that by letting my 12 years old cousin driving my beloved R40....he hitted the board like 2-3 times per turns and barely finsihed the lap within a minute..........and I did bring the car back eventually........the LINK (NUTS) does work without pushing in........infact, those ball caps on the pictures are BOTH stripped one, I was using taflon tape on the thread with CA and also using what FastHarry told me before to keep the cups pushed in untill I got these nuts........and without the nuts, they will be pushed in no doubt...

I have my friend made about 10 more sets just for the back ups, and of course, I cannot use them all, so if any of you guys are interested, PM or email me........I can send a set of 4 nuts for $10 shipped within USA.........

The paint is NOT the best thing to do from my friend, but just a idea to seperate which one is which....

I almost forgot......because the thickness of the nuts, I have to cut the end of all 4 cups by like 2mm at the end in order for me to get more thread space for the cups and the nuts....and that is like 1 minute of work by yourself. Everyone can do that...

If someone already did that...........ignore what I said ....

Anyhow........have a great race tomorrow.

Default Lightweight 2-speed gearing

Can somebody who has the lightweight 2-speed set tell me what spur and pinion combos it comes with. I've found some conflicting reports on Towerhobbies info page and HPI Japan's website.

Mine came with 22/29 pinions. I don't remember the spurs but I think there's only a 4T split.
