Anybody tested the hard shock bladders yet? My initial testing did not really give me good results as my tire choice was poor.

the hard bladders suppose to give faster shock rebound. the same as what you have on your EVO.

Yep agree. I was testing it on a somewhat bumpy track and I wanted to see if the rebound was too severe and I was losing front and side bite. The HPI hard bladders seem to be less stiff than the Kyosho ones.

i think the harder bladder works better on kyosho as the EVO car is too stable. it needs quicker suspension reaction.

CA the edge of the CF if it is used for main chassis. it is for comestic reason if you do it on upperdeck and shock tower.

my 2 cents! !!

You dont have to. You can do it for looks if you like. CAing the edges is mainly useful in areas which are prone to delamination due to rubbing on the ground, etc. CAing the shock towers for instance will not make them any stronger unless they get hit in the ends, pretty unlikely.

Yes, this is a common problem. Just use some sealant (type/brand can't think of off the top of my head) around the seam and let harden and your problem should be solved.

Default front diff leaking

hey all, I was wondering about the front diff leaking. I found that when I put some sealant around the seam of the diff (where the top and bottom of the diff connects) there were no leaks. However I am seeing some leakage from the out drive on the front diff. Anyone else have this problem?

thanks Jason

I don't want to bring up the word SERPENT again......but really, I have 2 things that I always use from SERPENT on any RC car that I have....

(1) the Serpent damper adjustable shock....no need to replace damper at all, just CLICK.........the best shocks in the market

(2) the Serpent cleaning gum...................not for cleaning, I put alittle of the gum inside the front diff, then apply some 50K (some, not a lot, if you dropped to much, it will leak)......it works perfect, and there are no leaking..........

Serpent Cleaning Gum 1690

Give them a try........

You cannot SEAL the whole diff.......and the outdrives are the only area that you cannot touch and the only place for the grease to go....

I used YOKOMO HARD diff grease, those are like GLUE, and I apply just enough (not packing it) along with the Serpent GUM, the gum itself will hold the grease within the housing, then I use CA to seal the whole diff................the chance that I can ruin a gear diff is low, so I CA the whole edge. But I prefer using SEALANT, so the diff is still servicable.
