Default throttle setting

hello
i'm new to petrol car and the one i bought did not came RTR nor did it came with any manual so i'm at lost with setting it up.
could any body tell me how i should set up the throttle and brake linkage ? should i set it up so that there's a bit of brake action at neutral and the throttle lever is all the way back with no power ?

I don't like to have trail brakes, that's brakes on when in nuetral, some people do, though. I think there's enough internal drag on a TC to slow down without it.

Some of my friends say they never use the brakes (like I used to say), but as I get faster, I'm beginning to use them more. I set the brakes so that they come on just a little but not enough to spin the car out.
