When I was a newbie and wanted to buy my first nitro car, street force was in my list. But everyone told me to stay away from, though I read some good posts from the owners in www.radiocontrolzone.com. I still bought the ntc3(rtr) and I was never wrong with my decision.

Ditch the duratrax. Not because it "sucks" but because you wont get parts for it easily. Stick with brands that your LHS has parts for, if duratrax is the case, then go for it. but i suggest a Nitro TC3 RTR or a OFNA LD3 RTR for your first car.
