Default smoking tires......

.........Is there any tire compound that will smoke when spun, or is there anything that you can put on the tires???

I want this for next year during my towns Chief Wapello Days paraid and maby the 4th of july paraid.

I think it would be neet for the croud to see little tires smokin.

If any tire compound works, it has to fit on a super, but i might get a nitro 200mm by then tho.

well in top fuel racing they used to(not sure if that is what they use now) drive through alcohol. and it heats up really fast when burned so it provided a smokey burn out. although I dont know if and RC car can get enough force down for this to work.

Your question has made me flashback to when I was very young and played with some sort of oil.

You would dip your thumb and index on it, then rub the two finger vigorously, it'd produce a gray smoke out of it--as though your fingers were burning hot.

I'll check back with my brother if he can recall what those oil is and will get back to you.

It's definitely a "DOABLE".

i had thought about this for about 18 weeks for 3-4 hours a day(english and french class and part of another).

it is possible but it will require some special fabrication

I will try to get a layout done on the computer with my knowledge about RC cars. it might work it might not.

heres vary simple diagram. you would have to get a brake right up front so you dont have to make a new dogbone.

also a front brake controlled by a button pressed bt the left and themb would work the best in my opinion
