nitromethane... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitromethane
lubricating oil.. olden days always used to be castor oil... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castor_oil ....nowadays most fuels use a synthetic lubricant package with sometimes a small % of castor mixed in........pure degummed castor is still a great lubricant although it will leave more deposits in your engine than an all synthetic oil........lube http://www.klotzlube.com/storeProdDetails.asp?pi=6 methanol and nitromethane can be bought from http://www.vpracingfuels.com/index2.html

This article is geared to airplane fuel, but it is very detailed and describes very well the required ratios for Glow Fuel.

car fuel: 20% nitromethane, 14% oil (up to about 18% for longer engine life, down to about 8% for performance) and the rest is methanol.

2 cans on nitroil wich are 32oz, 15oz of super techniplate and fill with methanol up to the 128oz that made one gallon, and you'll have 20 nitro 12 oil, synthetich/castor rc fuel, nitrol and super are both made from klotz, works great and that is how we made our rc fuel before it was available, for rc and airplanes

I mix:
- 25% nitro(3.5cc engine)
- 3% castor oil (Castrol Racing-M)
- 6% synthetic oil (Castrol MSSR)
- rest to fill up to 100% methanol.

..Why would you want to mix your own fuel? The stuff available now is of very high quality, with the right blend of oils to keep our high $$$ powerplants running cool, and clean. All of the popular race blends have had many hours of R&D in order to perfect these ratios.
Are you a tinkerer? Am am too sometimes, but this is one area that can cost you a lot of cash if your experimental fuel has the wrong ratios.
Good luck
