Dude, have you tried the Skylne VR12 plus? I have used it on about three different engines and it seems to always give me the best power band and excellent top and low end. A very versital exhaust. I have never used it on the JL since I have never owned a JL, however I think I remember looking a the Murnan Modified thread when he was testing this engine and I'm pretty sure that he had the best overall perfomance with this pipe. Not 100% sure, but pretty sure. If you go to the MM web site, it shows his tests on this engine and the different pipes he used with an explanation of the perfomance of each pipe used. Hope this helps some.

The best pipe for te JL Red Dot is the picco 2607, it gives a broad powerband, the engine keeps on accelerating it never peaks.

In regards to the pipes just read the power band and gear it accordingly.....
