You guys have a great facility down there, too bad it's a 750 mile drive for me- or you would see me more often.

And for the motor I was running, O.S. XZ-B Speed. Humidity was real high for the tune, which also flamed out three times too.

WHAT....? You didn't win...? I thought you GARANTEE a win.....

So who's strategy it was to fart on the driverstand. My eyes was so watery from it and I couldn't even see............Man, next time I race with you guys I'll need to make sure I stay with my car at all times, plus I need to wear a mask AND a pair ear plugs. Who would of thought someone will need to SUIT UP for RC racing!!!! DAMN! LOL!!!

Hello from France,

Here's some pictures of the first round of the French GT8 Challenge held in Castelsarrasin.

I won the race with my brand new HobbyTech STR8 GTe.

And, here's the pictures of our second race in Toulouse.

I set the Pole Position and the fastest lap of the day. But in final, a poor motor connector made some cut off in the electronics!!!

The HobbyTech STR8 GTe is a great car!!!

This past weekend we held our last race of the year 2012. It was the Caribbean Winter GT Cup. We had a great turn out with participants from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Panama (Ecuador) and USA. After 10 rounds of qualifiers the track record was broken (the past record was held by Paolo Morganti) this time Andy Baez got the TQ over the field. His qualifying time was 14 laps in 5:21.714. To give you a comparison with 1/10 Sedan the TQ was 14 5:01.829 so the GTs are getting faster every race. The pace Andy set was enough to get into the A Main of the Sedans!

During the 1 hour A Main the race was very close between Maxy Velasco, Andy Baez and Juaquin DeSoto. Maxy was in the lead early on with Andy and Juaquin in close pursuit. At the 38th minute Maxy ran into some problems (later he found his steering servo had given up!), this left the race between Andy Baez and Juaquin. In lap 86 Andy got some engine trouble and this left the lead in Juaquin's hands. The final finishing order was Juaquin DeSoto first Andy Baez in second both with Novarossi powered Cobra GTs and in third place came Sammy Zayas with a Mugen MBX-6 conversion.

Only Serpent Cobras and the Mugen Conversions made the A Main. I qualified very well in six place but couldn't race the A Main because of family matters.

HI Guys, i am very happy to see the GT class growing. I haven't personally be able to enjoy my car since August but finally i will be able to drive it again in January at the International Race. I'm happy to see old friends coming back to onroad like PC and also Rick V looks like goes back to GT.. All great news...

Guys, if you plan to attend he International race in Homestead, please go to the race thread and post your name, like a roll call type of deal. This will help tremendously the organizer plan the final logistics of the event. I attache dthe link of the thread, just in case:
